Here is the first full version of SIGHT & SOUND Episode 1 – The NK Power Trio with John Primer and Bob Corritore.
In all of these performances, we cover Muddy Waters’s classic song, “40 Days And 40 Nights,” a blues that John Primer played with Muddy Waters on his last tour as a young touring musician, “When I’m With You,” an original by the NK Power Trio, “The Wind Cries Mary,” a classic Jimi Hendrix song, “Someone Tell The World It’s Burnin’,” another original song by the NK Power Trio, the full interview with blues musician, John Primer, and finally closing out the episode with “Come Out And Play,” another original song from the NK Power Trio album, CROSSROADS. If you don’t know John Primer, you should. He was one of Muddy Waters’s last guitarists and has played with B.B. King, Chuck Berry, The Rolling Stones, Buddy Guy, Christone “Kingfish” Ingraham and countless other blues legends. John is also twice Grammy nominated for his own music he writes and plays slide, lead guitar, sings and sounds like one of the best around. Bob Corritore, a blues artist himself, is also one supremely talented musician as well and he also has some incredible albums out of his own. Together, this combination of musicianship is what made me want to create this entire live recorded series. Enjoy this first full episode in its entirety of SIGHT & SOUND!
